On 11 February 2016, Levitt Robinson launched a class action against the Royal Australian Navy on behalf of over 200 sailors who enlisted on the promise of a certificate IV engineering, but failed to receive any such training at all.

A press conference was held at the firm on Monday 15 February 2016, attracting significant media attention from the ABC, Courier Mail, The Australian, The Daily Mail, The Guardian, Triple J, 2GB and Channel 10’s ‘The Project’, among others.
