Levitt Robinson’s Dispute Resolution Division solicitor Daniel Meyerowitz-Katz was honoured on Friday night as one of Australia’s leading young lawyers.
At a gala cocktail event held at The Establishment and hosted by Lawyer’s Weekly, Daniel was short listed as a finalist in the coveted 30 under 30 Dispute Resolution category for his work with Principal Stewart Levitt in complex class action matters and a multi-million dollar mediated settlement.
Lawyers Weekly editor Ms Leanne Mezrani said the under 30’s were agents of change in an age old legal profession.
“This innovative, ambitious and entrepreneurial generation is motivated to make a difference, both in their workplaces and wider community,” she said.
Levitt Robinson Principal Mr Stewart Levitt said Daniel was an example of a young lawyer fitting the firm’s cultural and ethical ethos.
“We want our young lawyers to make a difference in our workplace, to our clients but also to the wider community,” Mr Levitt said.
Daniel was selected as a finalist from a field of more than 300 applicants for the award.
